Lara Cullinane Smith, Esq. - Founder
Lara is an experienced and accomplished attorney and has been practicing in the fields of family law, real estate and general litigation for over 15 years. She earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco and her Juris Doctor from Emory University.
Lara represents clients in pre-litigation dispute resolution, alternative dispute resolution, and traditional litigation in real estate matters and family law disputes. Lara has represented individuals in both restraining order cases in both civil and family court, has experience with family law matters including custody modifications and other family law matters; and has represented clients in numerous types of real estate matters including lot-line disputes; claims arising out of problems with sales contracts; equitable cases involving ownership claims without written contracts, and unlawful detainer (eviction) matters. She also has significant general litigation experience including representing business owners and individuals in defending their Constitutional rights. Lara has strong appellate experience and has appeared before state Circuit and Supreme Courts, U.S. Federal Circuit courts, and has written briefs to the United States Supreme Court.
Lara is the wife of a prior-service Marine and has volunteered with several organizations which provide support to service members and their families. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family and coaching her son's baseball team. She is the Vice-President and national spokesperson for the Liberal Gun Club, and advocates for the rights of women and minorities to self-defense at both the state and national level. She is available to speak to groups on a variety of topics including real estate, family law and Second Amendment policy.
